I’m an avid user of shampoo bars and I have often expressed my love for them on my social channels. Until recently I had only tried the Lush range. However, I was gifted a bar from Amphora Aromatics in which I got to choose one that was suitable for my hair type. I decided to choose the Lifestyle Bar as this has Lavender, Rosemary and Chamomile in and it is used to treat dry hair.
The shampoo bars are all made of natural ingredients and essential oils. There are no chemicals in the range and they are really easy to use. Simply rub it directly onto your head or lather it up in your hands just like you would a bar of soap. There is less wastage when you use a shampoo bar and product doesn’t build up in your hair follicles.
The shampoo is easy to rinse out and I found after rinsing my hair it felt super clean and very hydrated. My hair didn’t have a particular smell just the usual herby smell you get from any shampoo bar or other natural product. I did miss having nice smelling hair and I also found that I still had to use my conditioner afterward to keep my hair soft but overall I love using the shampoo bars as there is no packaging that is wasted or harmful to the environment, and of course they are all natural.
I would say the bars last for about 50 washes, they are small but they are great for travelling and aren’t too expensive given that they are a natural and more economical product. Amphora stock a wide range of shampoo bars suitable for different scalp and hair types. Alongside this, they stock fragrances, face products and home aromas that are all natural and made with essential fragrances.

I use the rose scented shampoo bar from Lush and I absolutely LOVE it! It leaves my hair clean and I feel like I am avoiding lots of unnecessary chemicals put into my hair.
I will have to try the rose scented one! I love the smell of rose! xx
