The new East Grinstead Rush salon has been opened for just over a week now and is owned by franchisees Jess and Hannah, two dedicated and experienced hairdressers who have worked for Rush for 4 years. Both ladies were extremely welcoming, I was seated quickly, offered a drink and handed a couple of magazines while waiting for Jess to start on my hair. I was delighted with the size of my cup of tea and the fast internet connection which made my 10 minute wait fly by!
Now this isn’t my first visit to a Rush salon I have visited a few of the Rush salons in the Sussex area so I did have an idea of the standard of service I should expect to receive.
Jess asked me how much I wanted cut off and the style of the blow dry I wanted, I didn’t want a drastic change just a simple trim with a few inches off and a big bouncy blow dry. I was gowned and led over to the basin for a relaxing wash, then swiftly guided back to my chair for my cut. Jess was extremely easy to talk to and told all about herself, her career journey, and how she became a proud salon owner.
After a timely blow dry the end result was superb. Smooth, silky and shiny curls that held their position for days after my initial blow dry.
The salon use a range of products including Kerastase, Redken, and L’Oreal Professional, placed under the tree are a range of GHD products and Chritmast sets including straighteners and styling products.
The decor and layout of the salon is gorgeous, the grey panel walls and exposed brickwork compliment each other well leaving a contemporary and polished look overall. The lighting and large mirrors are flattering and the warming and personal touch of a well decorated Christmas tree takes pride place.
My overall experience was not disappointing, the friendly staff and general atmosphere of the salon is welcoming and comfortable. The girls are attentive and such a delight to talk and I thank them for allowing me to review their salon. I highly enjoyed my experience and I recommend scheduling a visit or booking an appointment at your local Rush salon.
