Dusty Girls Mineral Foundation Review

August 8, 2016

Recently I was lucky enough to be sent a Kabuki brush and a pot of natural mineral foundation from the company Dusty Girl

The Dusty Girls make-up range is part of an Australian company named MooGoo. Moogoo has an entire range of gentle products that are made with natural ingredients and all are chemical free.

Our Mineral Foundation Powders are lightweight and filler free, which means you can get a natural coverage without the chemicals

Now I’ve always been interested in mineral powers and foundations and have previously tried them and found that they sometimes leave uneven coverage. However the good thing about mineral foundations is that they are lightweight, natural and aren’t prone to clogging pores.

The Dusty Girls foundation comes in little blue pot in a gorgeous blue colour and it is nice to see a company have no waste packaging and not over-pack their products. The cute  outer card sleeve packaging has a few little quotes on and instructions. Another key feature of this packaging is that the pot has a plastic lid type cover that you can twist and turn to stop the product from falling out.

I love love love the Kabuki brush! Soft bristles not made of animal hair and a perfect size to fit in any makeup bag!

I got the shade in medium and it was perfect for my skin tone, this company has a selection of 7 shades and the Fair and Medium shades are also available with pinks and gold undertones.  The light shimmer in this foundation finishes off any day look and it is perfect for anyone looking for a natural, light coverage. I recommend moisturising first then using a concealer to cover any blemishes and finally using a kabuki brush to lightly blend in the foundation to avoid excess.

The Dusty Girls and Moogoo makeup range is designed for anyone with blemish prone skin and the natural ingredients mean less chemicals are being put onto your delicate skin!

“Campaign Cake Face! Dusty Girls say no to cake face and yes to natural, healthy skin. Beauty is within but there’s no harm in highlighting our good features. Our number one beauty tip? Smile

Overall I highly recommend this foundation, the light formula means it is ideal for warm weather and I can’t wait to take it on holiday with me!

Have you ever used a mineral foundation powder before or used any of the products from Dusty Girls? Leave a comment below!

Thanks

I’ve never used powder foundation before as I can’t see it staying on my face but the formula of this inside the tub looks interesting, maybe it’s worth a go!

It’s so quick and easy to use I probably wouldn’t wear it on a night out or to an event but for every day use its perfect I highly recommend it! X

I've recently been using the eucalyptus bath salts from the @thenaturalspacosmetics which smell incredible! For a while now I've been using vegan and sustainable products where I can in order to be a little more eco friendly. These little pouches are made from recycled materials and are 100% biodegradable! They are also all natural and fully vegan. Just to prove that you don't need to compromise on your beauty regimes anymore by using sustainable and vegan items.
