Hello wonderful readers, I thought I would post a little life update as I feel it’s been a while since I’ve spoken about my personal life, and I wanted to update you and just generally express what has been happening in my world.
Jamie and I moved out of our flat last month and we are currently living with our parents as we aren’t moving into the new house until the end of March/beginning of April due to decorating and renovations currently being done.
Now the reason we wanted to move is because of our work commitments that are in a different location, and we needed more space for ourselves, space for guests and entertaining, and perhaps extra rooms for potential little people in the future (not immediate future). We just decided to start thinking of things long term and this move felt right for us.
My work schedule has been as hectic as usual and as there is only 24 hours in a day it has been really hard to me to find a work/life balance and make sure I have time to see family, friends and fit in some shopping for the new house of course 😉
I recently attended the Latest In Beauty | Be Our Guest event which was incredible and I will be posting about that this weekend! I met some lovely ladies at the event which I’m hoping to see again at BlogCon next week (please do message me if you are going as I would love to meet more fellow bloggers!)
Everything seems to be flowing in a positive direction at the moment which I’m so pleased about, and I feel that my blog is developing much faster than it was before. I’ve been lucky enough to get some wonderful opportunities lately and I feel incredibly fortunate. Obviously all of this hasn’t come without it’s minor hiccups such as finding the time to do everything but I seem to be pushing through and more importantly among this chaos I’m happy.
It is easy to get wrapped up in everything and when I get overwhelmed I do tend to shut off. It triggers bad MH days but it is important to remember self-care and to take a break when you need it. I’m definitely learning to do this more as I’m getting older so if you ever find yourself feeling lost when times get tough just take a step back and look after yourself!
As mentioned above I’m a busy bee so my posting schedule has been rather sporadic. I do apologise for not posting on specific days and at certain times but juggling everything can be a nightmare! I’m sure many of you can currently relate to this feeling.
All in all I’m feeling really optimistic and excited about the future, and I feel more confident in myself. I’m very inspired at the moment especially by the fellow bloggers who I have bonded with and regularly talk to, and the amazing friends I have around me who are bossing it in life at the moment! Having this platform as a creative outlet means a lot to me and thank you so much to everyone that reads my blog. More importantly remember that it is ok to feel submerged with emotion during busy periods of your life but you are awesome and don’t think that you aren’t!
