Beauty Atelier Review

Today’s post is all about Beauty Atelier Shop, I recently posted my first impressions of the products which you can read about here, but now I’ve had the chance to really try the products and experiment with some looks.

Beauty Atelier are an online beauty retailer that sell a range of handmade and cruelty free products perfect for any makeup addict!

Included in the package I recently received was handmade silk eyelashes in 4 different style; Romantic, Precious, Sexy and Glamorous. Alongside these was also the cruelty free mink eyelashes, Lightly, Softly and Kinky.

On opening the eyelashes I thought “wow these are long” which some people may like but I preferred to trim them down so they would feel more comfortable. I noticed none of the eyelashes come with glue so you do need to purchase eyelash glue beforehand or just simply use the self adhesive on the lashes depending on how long you want your lashes on for.

The ‘Precious’ eyelashes I found were lovely and wispy, I would definitely recommend these for an enhanced daytime look! They have volume and great length, and I would personally match these to a earthy toned smokey eye using bronze, coppers and warm shades.

Sexy. These eyelashes are 100 percent suited to any look. The angled shape of the lashes sit perfectly across your lid still allowing you to achieve a natural yet dramatic look. These lashes were probably my favourite to use just because they are so versatile and easy to apply.

The Romantic lashes are really long but because they don’t have extreme volume they still make your eyes pop but in a more subtle way. I found these so easy to apply and really comfortable to wear! They achieve a more fine and precise look and I would recommend these if you don’t like chunky, dramatic, and voluminous lashes.

Lastly in the luxury silk set is the Glamorous eyelashes. They are ideal party lashes, full, thick and lightweight They are easy to apply and really open up your eyes.

The Perfectionist Make Up Sponge is made of vegetable fibre and it is latex free, this allowed me to apply more product to the sponge without it soaking it all up and losing half of the foundation you have applied there!

It is a great size for blending out power and product from smaller areas it expands well when damp. I noticed that because it is made of vegetable fibre it is extremely versatile and you can achieve a matte look or soft a dewy finish. Overall I really enjoyed using it and I would highly recommended it over standard beauty blenders.

Alongside the sponge, I received the Heartist Make Up Brush Cleaner. Now I have always wanted one but never really knew if it would be worth it, however after using this I am so impressed with how well it cleans your brushes! The cleaner itself is high quality silicone and each patterned section allows you to clean different sized bristles and different styles of brushes.

It is really easy to use and hold and although it is white, it is extremely easy to clean and product doesn’t stain onto its surface. I love how cute it looks and it is super easy to fit in a makeup bag for when you travel.

Lastly is the Faux Mink eyelashes, I received three sets; Lightly, Softly and Kinky. The website also have four others named Natural, Shy, Sensual and Extravagant. All the lashes come in a plastic case allowing you to use them repeatedly without ruining them.

The Lightly lashes are extremely natural looking, they are easy to apply and when wearing them they felt lightweight. These could be worn as part of an enhanced everyday look.

I found that the Softly Lashes were my favourite to wear! They are slightly more voluminous than the Lightly lashes and suited my eye shape better. Lightweight and comfortable I highly recommend these lashes.

Finally, the Kinky lashes. Now these are extreme, dramatic and super glamorous. They aren’t to my personal taste as they are really long, thick and quite in-your-face. The style doesn’t suit me well but they are easy to apply and would look fantastic before a night out!

All the eyelashes mentioned above should be able to be worn up to 20 times if gently washed and looked after.

Overall I’ve really enjoyed using the Beauty Atelier products, they look great and are very affordable.
